About the Artist

LIZ MCCLEAN is a stylist and creative director based between New York and Los Angeles. Born in New York and raised on the North Shore of Long Island, Liz studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology before beginning her career in styling. An early opportunity assisting on shoots with Richard Avedon ignited her enduring passion for the craft.

Liz works across advertising, editorial, and celebrity projects, developing a signature approach rooted in intuition and storytelling. Her creative practice extends into design, having launched her own eponymous clothing line while continuing her work as a stylist and fashion editor.

She later joined So It Goes, the London-based art and culture biannual, as Fashion Director, where she helped define the publication’s unique voice—blending fashion, art, film, music, writing, and community into immersive, narrative-driven visuals. That experience cemented her holistic approach to style, rooted in collaboration and authentic storytelling.

Today, Liz collaborates with a diverse range of editorial and advertising clients such as Levi’s, Victoria’s Secret, Coach, MAC Cosmetics, Abercrombie & Fitch, Reebok, Google, Samsung, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, Marie Claire, and others.

Liz is continually inspired by the intersection of art, culture, and human connection. She brings a distinct energy to each project—guided by the belief that respect, kindness, and compassion are essential to the creative process and always reflected in the work itself.
