LUISA OPALESKY is an artist whose practice seeks to connect with all walks of life through photography, dance and film. Originally from Philadelphia, she earned a BFA in photography under the mentorship of George Pitts at Parsons New School for Design. Luisa is based in New York but regularly works on both coasts.

Influenced by her multicultural upbringing, the rhythm of city life and a deep love for cinema, Luisa’s work is marked by bold color, dynamic movement and a touch of humor. Her debut book, Big City Nobody, is a vibrant portrait of her world, blending personal narrative with editorial outtakes to create a visual diary. The book is available at the renowned Dashwood Books in New York.

Luisa has worked with brands such as Mulberry, Rimowa, Converse, Carolina Herrera and Urban Outfitters. Some editorial collaborators include Interview Magazine, GQ, Vogue, The New York Times, New York Magazine and more.
