ASH RUCKER holds a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising from Buffalo State University and the Fashion Institute of Technology. After graduation, Ash moved to New York City where she interned for Betsey Johnson, W Magazine and designer, Mara Hoffman before settling in at L'Oréal.
Ash later transitioned to a new career path and founded Therapart, a non-profit organization dedicated to working with youth affected by the criminal justice system. Ash recently completed fellowships at The New School and Columbia University, focusing on healing through somatic-based movement, meditation and art therapy practices.
In addition to her work with youth, Ash teaches somatic-based movement classes in NYC, LA, Mexico and Europe. This journey has led her to develop an intuitive-based movement direction approach. Ash has collaborated with Loewe, Rag & Bone and photographer Ryan McGinley and she has recently performed at the New Museum.
Ash is recognized as an energetic architect of the mind, body and soul, using her deep study of movement to craft her unique style.
