About the Artist

MARLA WEINHOFF is a Los Angeles and New York based Production Designer specializing in set design for fashion, advertising, film, television, live performance and events. Weinhoff draws upon a background in art and design history coupled with extensive relationships with world class fabricators and craftspeople to enhance and bring to life each client’s vision. Weinhoff received her M.A. in Design from the University of California, Berkeley, which included time designing kimonos in Japan. After moving to New York, her work evolved into designing sets for commercial and fashion campaigns with photography legends such as Richard Avedon, Steven Meisel, Inez & Vinoodh, Herb Ritts and Peter Lindbergh. Her talent has repeatedly caught the attention of the world’s most prestigious brands and artists, who have engaged Weinhoff to produce creative and commercially successful projects.

Clients include Versace, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Bottega Veneta, Brandon Maxwell, Armani, Givenchy, YSL, Swarovski, Vera Wang, Hugo Boss, David Yurman, Estee Lauder and Tiffany. Weinhoff’s deep love of music and her reputation for leading-edge fashion work led her to design productions for music icons such as Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Billie Eillish, Beyonce, Prince, David Bowie, Madonna, Aerosmith, Elton John, and Lauryn Hill. Her goal is always to maintain the DNA of a client, but have it evolve in an innovative direction; more than anything she welcomes close collaborations with creative teams.
