RON ZAKHAR is a seasoned set designer and prop stylist, working around the world. His expertise in the arts, sculpture, painting & filmmaking, have all had a major influence on his work. Being the, youngest of nine children, has also fed into his collaborative spirit with creative directors, photographers, and his team. He is able to create anything from vision to reality through his patience, sense of urgency, sense of humor, charm, great aesthetic instincts.

His work ethic and discerning eye has translated into synergistic relationships with some of the top creatives in the advertising and fashion business. He has worked with photographers such as Mario Testino, Herb Ritts, Karl Lagerfeld, Gilles Bensimon, Ruven Afanador, Annie Leibovitz, Steven Meisel, Frank Uyttenhove, Blair Getz Mezibov, Guy Aroch, Greg Kadel, Arthur Belebeau, Kurt Iswarienko, Warren Du Preez/Nick Thorton,  Brian Kuhlmann, Anne Menke, Kate Powers, Cass Bird, Dean Isidro and many more.

His advertising clients include L'Oreal, Nike, Gap, Levi's, Dockers, Keds, Marks& Spencer, Tumi, Reebok, JBL, Hennesey and Capitol One.  And editorial clients such as InStyle, Allure, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Entertainment Weekly, The New Yorker, Hollywood Reporter, LA Times, Rolling Stone, Oprah, Vanity Fair, Vogue.

After transplanting to California 30 years ago he now resides in Los Angeles with his dog Jackson, a Chinese crested Hungarian Vizsla, terrier mix.
