MATT JACKSON is a set and production designer based in New York City and Los Angeles. He specializes in collaborations with fine artists working in fashion and advertising, in media ranging from photography and film to events and installations.
Matt studied set design in Canada and co-founded the Ecce Homo theater company in Toronto, working as their resident designer until 2009 when he transitioned into fashion and advertising. Since moving his studio to Manhattan in 2011 Matt has collaborated with photographers and directors such as Ryan McGinley, Roe Ethridge, Harley Weir, Ari Marcopoulous and Harmony Korine. Some of his clients include Calvin Klein, Gucci, Estee Lauder, Marc Jacobs, Coach, Zara, Nike and Netflix.
Matt is known for building involved and considered worlds, from the smallest detail of a still life, to large scale installations in studio and site-specific interventions on location.
