About the Artist

LAUREN NIKROOZ is a set and production designer working globally. Of Iranian & British descent, Lauren studied at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art (RADA) London. With a career spanning over fifteen years, Lauren has cultivated a unique point of view that combines the worlds of pop culture, art, and fashion, creating iconic and memorable visuals for the likes of Kanye West, Rhianna, Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky, Missy Elliott, Travi$ Scott, Ariana Grande, J. Lo and The Weeknd. Lauren works with commercial clients such as Calvin Klein, Dior, Burberry, Gucci, Nike, Dion Lee, GCDS, Chopova Lowena, Alexander Wang, Supreme, Versace, Coach and Fenty among others. She has collaborated with editorial publications such as Vogue, W Mag, Dazed, Office, 032c, Homme Girls, Garage and 10 Magazine.

Lauren’s past film work has been working alongside Matthew Barney on his follow up to the Cremaster Cycle and also with famed performance artist, Marina Abramovic on her collaboration with MoMA. More recently, Lauren has provided creative direction for Janelle Monae, as well as conceptualized and executed large scale live installations for clients such as Adidas, Vice Media, Vevo, Art Basel, Nordstrom and Dover Street Market.
